The Florida Region of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) produced a juried exhibit for travel in 2024 – 2025 throughout Florida. Artists were challenged to create work inspired by the idea of “Awakening.” Thirty works comprise the exhibit, selected by Juror Sara Pedigo, a painter and Professor of Art at Flagler College, St. Augustine, Florida. Artist interpretations of the theme include nature-based, abstract, conceptual, and representational works. These textile artworks reflect the creative diversity of ideas and methods represented by Florida’s SAQA members.
